Learning from Keyham - Community Recovery Resource Pack
Just over a year on from the Keyham tragedy, we share our learnings about the challenges and rewards of supporting community recovery at a time of complex need.
On the evening of Thursday 12th August 2021, the residents of the small community of Keyham in Plymouth (UK) were subjected to a sudden, violent, and unprovoked attack. A gunman opened fire killing five people and wounding two, before killing himself. These events were directly, and indirectly, witnessed by many in the local community. The location where the shootings took place was in the west of the city, close to the dockyard.
